CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher as gold miners rally
TORONTO, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended higher on Friday as gold miners rallied around record high gold prices, offsetting the index's fall at the outset on weak jobs data that fueled worry about economic recovery.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed 62.20 points, or 0.56 percent, higher at 11,242.90. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
