I’m disappointed that there is no mention of the fact that the electronic magazine Vice is responsible for him being arrested. They were there visiting him for an article, and they took a photo with their smartphone. It had geocoded metadata which pinpointed his new home in Guatemala. If he isn’t guilty, they just did him a great injustice. Also, they’ve outed themselves as incompetent as journalists and no one should ever interview with them who values their life and safety in a similar situation. This point should have been driven home in this article, and unfortunately it was not.
