Legendary sitarist, composer Ravi Shankar dead at 92
A legend passes….reading this news brought back memories of a brilliant performance by the maestro at the Mardi Gras festival (at IIT Madras not New Orleans) in the early eighties. Zakir gave an equally brilliant performance on the tabla that day.
