I think our PM took courage to make a brief statement only because the armed force personnel were around him. But he had not spoken a single word against Pakistan, while he should have been the first Indian to warn Pakistan. This passive remark looked more like a condolence message while it should have included a strong condemnation of Pakistan. I think he is restraining himself and killing his conscience. It looks his mandate restricts him to condemn Pakistan a Muslim nation. Obviously it reflects the policy of the congress for safeguarding its Muslim vote bank, especially on the eve of the elections in the NE. This is also reflected in the statement issued by our FM a few days ago.
