India Sun pharma gets US nod for hypertension drug
MUMBAI, Nov 18 (Reuters) - India's Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (SUN.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday it had approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Nicardipine Hydrochloride injections, a short-term hypertension treatment.
Nicardipine injections have annual sales of about $170 million in the United States, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram; Editing by John Mair)
