Indian shares down 0.2 pct on weak Asia
MUMBAI, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Indian shares fell 0.2 percent in early trade on Thursday, led by losses in Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) tracking the losses in Asian stocks.
At 9:55 a.m. (0425 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 0.16 percent at 16,971.25 points, with 16 components declining.
Infosys was down 1.1 percent at 2,407.80 rupees while ICICI Bank also fell 1.1 percent to 895.60 rupees.
The 50-share NSE Index .NSEI was down 0.06 percent at 5,051.65.
