Prakash Ind to invest 4.85 bln rupees in cement unit
MUMBAI, July 4 (Reuters) - Prakash Industries Ltd PRKI.BO said on Friday it has signed a deal with the government of the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh to set up cement and clinker plants at an investment of 4.85 billion rupees.
The cement plant would have an annual capacity of 2 million tonnes while the capacity of the clinker plant would be 1 million tonnes, the company said in a statement.
It also said the state government would assist in allotment of coal and limestone blocks to the company for captive use. (Reporting by Kaustav Roy; Editing by Sunil Nair)
