Glenmark unit gets US nod for lithium carbonate capsules
MUMBAI, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd's (GLEN.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) unit, Glenmark Generics, said on Wednesday it received the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval to sell lithium carbonate capsules in multiple strengths.
The drug is used in the treatment of bipolar disorders and had annual sales of $10 million, the company added in a statememt. (Reporting by Bharghavi Nagaraju; editing by Sunil Nair)
