India corp bond yields ease tracking govt bonds
MUMBAI, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Indian corporate bond yields eased to their lowest in more than three and a half months on Thursday, tracking government bond yields which dipped on tapering supplies and ample cash in the banking system.
The yield on the Reuters benchmark five-year corporate bond AAAIN5Y= ended at 8.11 percent on Thursday, the lowest since July 30, and down from Wednesday's 8.15 percent.
The spread between the five-year corporate and government bonds widened slightly to 74.15 basis points from 72.13 basis points on Wednesday.
The yield on the 10-year benchmark bond IN069019G=CC ended at 7.25 percent, below Wednesday's closing of 7.26 percent. [IN/]
Total volume traded on Thursday was 15.36 billion rupees, lowerthan Wednesday's 17.31 billion rupees, Thomson Reuters data showed.
