* Tata Motors (TAMO.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Jaguar Land Rover have tied up $250 million in distribution financing deal with GE Capital.

* Reliance Industries (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) may join global oil majors in search of shale gas and will take decision on investments in six months after its studies of new technologies are over, according to an unnamed senior official of the firm.

DNA Money (www.dnaindia.com)

* Tata Steel (TISC.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) is likely to get final possession of the land required for its greenfield plant at Kalinganagar in the eastern Indian state of Orissa and construction is likely to begin early next year, its managing director said.
