Five killed in Sri Lankan rail station blast
COLOMBO, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Five people were killed and more than 85 wounded in a suicide blast at the main railway station in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Sunday, military and hospital officials said.
"We have received 94 people, of that 5 were dead. Some are badly injured," said National Hospital Director Anil Jasinghe following the blast at the Fort railway station. The blast was blamed on Tamil Tiger rebels. (Reporting by Ranga Sirilal)
