India's Unitech seeks to raise $700 mln bonds-paper
MUMBAI, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Unitech Ltd (UNTE.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), India's second-largest real estate firm, has sought approval from the government and the central bank to raise $700 million through foreign currency bonds, the Economic Times reported on Wednesday.
Citing an unnamed company official, the newspaper said Unitech would use the money for building an integrated township project.
A spokesman for Unitech could not be immediately reached for comment.
