Europe stocks add to gains as US shares recover
PARIS, Feb 8 (Reuters) - European stocks added to their gains on Friday afternoon, rising along with U.S. shares as recently-battered techs bounced back while banks trimmed losses.
At 1515 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares was up 0.4 percent at 1,301.55 points in a choppy session.
Nokia (NOK1V.HE: Quote, Profile, Research) was up 3 percent and Ericsson (ERICb.ST: Quote, Profile, Research) up 1.9 percent, while banks were mixed, with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L: Quote, Profile, Research) down 0.7 percent and Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) up 1.4 percent.
