Australia to play three tests and five ODIs in South Africa

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Australia will play three tests, five one-day internationals and two Pro20 matches on their tour of South Africa from February to April next year, Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced on Friday.

Australia open their tour on Feb. 20 with a three-day warm-up match against South Africa A in Potchefstroom, the only time they will not be playing the national team.

The three tests will be played in the "traditional venues" of Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, the CSA statement said.

The tour ends on April 17 with the last of the one-day internationals.

Itinerary - Feb. 20-22 v South Africa A (Potchefstroom); Feb. 26-March 2 v South Africa, 1st test (Johannesburg); March 6-10 v South Africa, 2nd test (Durban); March 19-23 v South Africa, 3rd test (Cape Town); March 27 v South Africa, Pro20 (Johannesburg); March 29 v South Africa, Pro20 (Centurion); April 3 v South Africa, ODI (Durban); April 5 v South Africa, ODI (Centurion); April 9 v South Africa, ODI (Cape Town); April 13 v South Africa, ODI (Port Elizabeth); April 17 v South Africa, ODI (Johannesburg).
