Bangladesh win toss, bat first vs Pakistan in Asia Cup

KARACHI (Reuters) - Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the super league match of the Asia Cup on Friday.

Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik returned to the team after missing the last game due to illness. Experienced all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been dropped from the side.

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (Capt), Salman Butt, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Abdur Rauf, Sohail Tanvir, Rao Iftikhar, Saeed Ajmal.

Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful (Capt), Mashrafe Mortaza, Abdur Razzak, Alok Kapali, Farhad Reza, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Nazimuddin, Raqibul Hasan, Shahadat Hossain, Tamim Iqbal.
