Rain washes out fourth ODI between Sri Lanka and India
COLOMBO (Reuters) - Heavy persistent drizzle saw the fourth one-day international between Sri Lanka and India abandoned without a ball being bowled on Tuesday.
Light rain began to fall 90 minutes before the scheduled start time of 0900 GMT and persisted steadily, forcing the umpires to abandon the match at 1230 GMT.
The match will be played on Wednesday as provisions have been made for an extra day. India lead the five-match series 2-1.
