Power Grid to raise 30 bln rupees via bonds

MUMBAI, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Power Grid (PGRD.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) plans to raise 30 billion rupees via bonds in January, Director of Finance J Sridharan said on Wednesday.

He said money will be raised through a private placement.

"The funds will be used for a group of projects," Sridharan added. (Reporting by Nidhi Verma; Editing by Harish Nambiar)
