Nagpur Foodgrain Prices Open-May 17
Nagpur, May 17 (Reuters) - Select pulses in the trading activity of the Nagpur Agriculture Produce and Marketing Committee (APMC) reported down on lack of demand from local flour mills amid profit-taking selling by stockists at higher level. Easy condition on Madhya Pradesh foodgrain market also affected sentiment in thin trading activity, sources said Saturday.

GRAM
* Gram prices showed weak tendency on poor buying support from local flour
mills. Fresh fall in Madhya Pradesh gram prices also affected sentiment.
* In the open market, Deshi gram declined further in absence of buyers.
High moisture content gram arrival also affected prices.
TUAR
* Tuar prices showed weak tendency in Nagpur APMC on poor demand from
local flour mills. Further fall in Madhya Pradesh Tuar prices also
affected sentiment.
* In the open market, Tuar Gavarani and Tuar black moved down on lack of
demand from local traders amid good arrival from producing region. In
Akola, Tuar Gavarani was available at Rs 2,500 for 100 kg.
* Rice, wheat and other foodgrain prices remained steady in open market in
thin trading activity, sources said Saturday.
