Oct 10(Reuters) - Following is the weather report detailed by
India
Monsoon Watch
The trough in the lower levels from Sikkim to central Bay of
Bengal persists.
Main Features (based on 0530 hrs IST Observations)
Weather is likely to remain mainly dry over west, central
and plains of northwest India.
KALPANA-1 Cloud Imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective
clouds over parts of north Andaman Sea and central Bay of
Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of Jammu &
Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, northeast, east and peninsular
India.
Forecast valid upto 0530 hours IST of 13th October, 2009

Weather Outlook from 0530 hrs IST of 13th October to 0530
hrs IST of 15th October, 2009:
 Scattered rainfall activity is likely over south Peninsular
India.
 Southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from remaining
parts of northwest India and some parts of east & central
India. Note: 'TRACE' means that rain fell but there was not
enough rainfall to
