Nagpur Foodgrain Prices Open-May 30

 Nagpur, May 30 (Reuters) - Select pulses in the trading
activity of the Nagpur Agriculture Produce and Marketing
Committee (APMC) today firmed up again on increased buying
support from local flour mills amid restricted supply from
producing region. Fresh rise in pulses on NCDEX and upward
trend in Madhya Pradesh pulses also helped to push up select
pulses, sources said Saturday.

 * Gram prices today firmed up again in Nagpur APMC on
renewed demand from
   local flour mills amid tight supply from producing region
because of
   rains parts of Vidarbha.
 * In the open market, deshi gram reported strong on good
demand from local
   traders amid weak arrival from producing region.
 TUAR
 * In Nagpur APMC, Tuar prices zoomed up again on increased
demand
   from local flour mills. Sharp rise in Madhya Pradesh Tuar
prices also
   boosted sentiment.
 * In open market, Tuar Gavarani today touched to a record
high because of
   stockists buying amid weak arrival from producing region.
 * In Akola, Tuar Gavarani was available at Rs 4,075, Udid
at 3,170 and
   Moong Nirmal - 4,000 for 100 kg.
 * Wheat, rice and other foodgrain prices remained steady in
open market in
   thin trading activity, sources said Saturday.

100 kg)in Nagpur,
 according to APMC sources.
