 * Edible oil prices were steady to firm in the early
trades.
 * Groundnut oil prices moved up further due to restricted
selling from oil millers.
 * Cottonseed oil gained due to retail demand.
   Today's arrivals:
   --Groundnut, in 35-kg bags:35,000 versus 40,000 previous
   --Castor seed, in 75-kg bags:26,000-27,000
versus30,000-31,000 previous
