Nagpur Foodgrain Prices Open-November 04

 Nagpur, Nov 04 (Reuters) - Gram prices firmed up again in
the Nagpur Agriculture Produce and Marketing Committee (APMC)
on seasonal buying support by local flour mills amid weak
supply from producing region. Fresh hike in Madhya Pradesh gram
prices and good demand from South-based traders also pushed up
prices, sources said Wednesday.

 * Gram varieties ruled steady in open market but demand was
poor in thin
   trading activity.
 TUAR
 * In open market, Tuar gavarani recovery further on
increased demand from
   local traders amid tight supply from producing region.
Stockists were
   active because of reports about low output in this
season.
 * Watana (peas) green registered a notable rise in open
market on fresh
   buying support from local traders amid weak arrival from
producing belt.
 * In Akola, Tuar Gavarani was available at Rs 5,900, Udid
(New) at 5,550
   and Moong Nirmal - 5,950  for 100 kg.
 * Wheat, rice and other commodities prices remained steady
in open market
   in thin trading activity, sources said Wednesday.
