India guar futures seen higher on export, short-covering
MUMBAI, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Indian guar futures may trade higher on Wednesday on strong export demand and short-covering after sharp losses in the last few sessions, analysts said.
The most-active September futures NGUU8 lost more than 9 percent till Monday, and rose marginally in the previous session.
Rains and almost steady acreage weighed on guar futures in the last few sessions, analysts said.
The September futures ended at 1,843 rupees per 100 kg, up 0.33 percent, on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange in the previous session.
