MUMBAI, Aug 5 (Reuters) - India's copper futures opened slightly changed on Tuesday, tracking steady overseas markets and a demand glut, an analyst said.

At 10.19 a.m., the benchmark August copper MCCQ8 on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) was down 0.26 percent at 321.8 rupees per kg.

Copper prices are expected to trade steady later in the day, on weak demand side fundamentals, an analyst said.

At 10.30 a.m., August zinc MZIQ8 was down 0.46 percent to 75.70 rupees a kg and August lead MLDQ8 was 0.99 percent down at 84.85 rupees per kg.
