India spices futures seen opening higher on demand
MUMBAI, May 6 (Reuters) - Indian spices futures are likely to open higher on Tuesday due to good domestic and export demand, analysts said.
PEPPER
Pepper futures are expected to open firm on fresh export demand and low arrivals, analysts said.
The benchmark June pepper NPEM8 ended on Monday at 14,518 rupees per 100 kg, down 0.2 percent.
JEERA
Jeera futures are expected to rise in the early trade on demand from domestic as well as export markets, but higher arrivals may pull down prices in the later part of the day.
July jeera NJEN8 closed on Monday at 11,374 rupees per 100 kg, up 1.92 percent.
TURMERIC:
Turmeric futures may open a bit higher on good demand from stockists and lower output estimates due to reduced acreage, analysts said. Continued...
