MUMBAI, May 6 (Reuters) - Indian spices futures are likely to open higher on Tuesday due to good domestic and export demand, analysts said.

PEPPER

Pepper futures are expected to open firm on fresh export demand and low arrivals, analysts said.

The benchmark June pepper NPEM8 ended on Monday at 14,518 rupees per 100 kg, down 0.2 percent.

July jeera NJEN8 closed on Monday at 11,374 rupees per 100 kg, up 1.92 percent.

TURMERIC:

Turmeric futures may open a bit higher on good demand from stockists and lower output estimates due to reduced acreage, analysts said.  Continued...
