India bond yields jump bond auction cut-off
MUMBAI, July 24 (Reuters) - Indian federal bond yields jumped on Thursday as the cut-off yield at a bond auction was higher than market expectations.
* At 4:46 p.m., the benchmark 10-year bond yield <IN082418G=CC> was at 9.09 percent, compared with Wednesday's close of 9.02 percent.
* The central bank's cut-off yield was 9.0785 percent. A Reuters poll earlier in the day forecast the cut-off yield at the 8.24 percent 2018 bond at 9.05 percent. The central bank sold 60 billion rupees of these bonds. (Reporting by V.Ramakrishnan; Editing by Ramya Venugopal)
