India Hot Stocks:Mundra Port up after SC vacates stay order

MUMBAI, July 9 (Reuters) - The following stocks were on the move at the BSE on Wednesday.
At 12.23 p.m. the benchmark 30-share BSE index was up 3.30 percent to 13,790.35 points.
The 50-share National Stock Exchange Index was up 2.95 percent to 4,106.25 points.

* Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone (MPSE.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) rose more than 13 percent on report the Supreme Court has allowed it to carry out construction activities at its SEZ in Mundra, Gujarat, a dealer said. The court had imposed a stay order on construction activities in the SEZ on July 2. Executive Director Ameet Desai told Reuters, "the petition has been dismissed and withdrawn by the Supreme Court. The SEZ is a long-term plan, this was a 7-8 days' aberration and we hope to continue our activities smoothly." Shares were trading at 520.10 rupees, up 12.65 rupees.
