India Ranbaxy gets FDA nod for cyclobenzaprine HCL

MUMBAI, May 15 (Reuters) - Indian drugmaker Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd (RANB.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for muscle relaxant cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets, the regulator's website showed.

The FDA has also granted tentative approval to Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc, a unit of Lupin Ltd (LUPN.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), for ramipril capsules, used in treating cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure. (Reporting by Rina Chandran; Editing by John Mair)
