3,925.75 points, after oil hit a new record above $145 a
barrel, spooking stock markets across Asia.

close of 8.78 percent, on record high crude prices and ahead of
inflation data.

close of 43.17/18, weighed down by a selloff in the stock
market and record oil prices.
