India corn futures pare losses on lower acerage
MUMBAI, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Indian corn futures erased early losses and ended up on Wednesday on lower acerage, analysts said.
Corn acreage as of Sept. 11 stood at 7.02 million hectares, trailing the 7.41 million hectares planted in the same period last year, according to government data.
October corn NMZV8 ended at 887.50 rupees per 100 kg, up 0.11 percent on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX). (Reporting by Debiprasad Nayak, editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
