India guar futures lower on profit-taking
MUMBAI, July 4 (Reuters) - Indian guar futures were trading lower on Friday on profit-taking after a sharp rise in the previous session, analysts said.
AT 10:55 a.m, the most-active September guar seed futures NGUU8 were at 1,941 rupees per 100 kg, down 0.46 percent on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. The futures rose 2.63 percent in the previous session.
However, strong export demand from China and the U.S. for industrial guar gum limited losses and may help in pushing the futures higher later in the day, analysts said.
