MUMBAI, Dec 1 (Reuters) - Cinema chain operator Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd (PYSA.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) sees margins affected in the short-term due to falling occupancy rates after the recent terror attacks in Mumbai, a top official said.

"It will take some time before people come back to public places like malls and movie theatres...so occupancy will come down and margins will take a dip," Managing Director P.S. Saminathan told television channel NDTV Profit on Monday.

Shares of the company were up 1.5 percent at 37.30 rupees in a weak Mumbai market. (Reporting by Nandita Bose: editing by Harish Nambiar)
