India corn futures a tad lower on arrivals
MUMBAI, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Indian corn futures were range-bound with slight negative bias on Friday as arrivals weighed, while short-covering after a 3 percent fall in the last two trading sessions supported, analysts said.
The daily average arrivals have increased to about 10,000 bags of 100 kg this week, up from average daily arrivals of about 7,000 bags last week, two traders and an analyst said.
At 11:19 a.m, November corn NMZX8 futures contract was at 845 rupees per 100 kg, down 0.18 percent on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. (Reporting by Sourav Mishra; Editing by Harish Nambiar)
