Omaxe raises 1 bln rupees via pvt placement

MUMBAI, May 26 (Reuters) - Real estate firm Omaxe Ltd (OMAX.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it has raised 1 billion rupees through private placement of debentures to LIC Mutual Fund.

The company also said it is planning to acquire companies overseas, including in the United Arab Emirates. (Reporting by Aniruddha Basu; Editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
