Lloyd Electric to acquire Czech firm

MUMBAI, May 14 (Reuters) - Air conditioner coil maker Lloyd Electric and Engineering Ltd (LEEG.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday announced the acquisition of Luvata Czech s.r.o. in Prague, through a special purpose vehicle.

The purchase price was not disclosed by the company.

Shares in Lloyd were trading up 5.2 percent at 119.30 rupees in the Mumbai market. (Reporting by Janaki Krishnan; Editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
