India says called Pakistani envoy over Mumbai

NEW DELHI, Dec 1 (Reuters) - India's foreign ministry on Monday said it had called the Pakistani high commissioner in New Delhi and informed him the Mumbai attacks that killed 183 people were carried out by elements from Pakistan.

The Indian government told the commissioner that it expects strong action against those responsible. (Reporting by Rajkumar Ray; Editing by Bryson Hull)
