Nov 6 (Reuters) - Megha Mittal, the daughter-in-law of steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, has agreed to buy insolvent German fashion house Escada (ESCG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) for an undisclosed price.
Here are five facts about Megha Mittal:
* Megha Patodia was born in Hyderabad, India
* The 33-year old is married to Aditya Mittal, heir to Lakshmi Mittal, chief executive of the world's largest steel maker, ArcelorMittal (ISPA.AS: Quote, Profile, Research), and has two daughters
* Megha Mittal took a degree from Wharton Business School in 1997, specialising in finance and strategic management, and has a postgraduate degree in architectural design from Inchbald School of Design in London (2003).
* Mittal worked at her family's GTN textile company after graduating from Wharton
* She was an analyst at Goldman Sachs investment research for one year from 2000, covering telecoms, media and technology stocks
