SINGAPORE, June 7 (Reuters) - Pakistan State Oil Company has issued a tender to buy up to 40,000 tonnes of 87-octane gasoline for delivery over the next three months, the latest in a sporadic series of imports, the company Web site showed on Monday.

The company is seeking to buy one 87-RON 20,000-tonne cargo of gasoline for delivery June 25-27, with an option to buy a second such cargo for delivery in July or August. Both are to be priced on a C+F Karachi basis.

Bids are due by June 17 and should remain valid until until June 19.

Pakistan reentered the market for imported gasoline last year after a prolonged absence as domestic demand began to exceed its refining capacity. It has been buying fuel sporadically since then, with its last tender for November to January cargoes. (Reporting by Jonathan Leff; Editing by Ben Tan)
