iShares Silver Trust holdings rise 1.5% to 8,744 T
TOKYO, Oct 30 (Reuters) - The world's largest silver-backed exchange-traded fund, the iShares Silver Trust (SLV: Quote, Profile, Research), said its bullion holdings stood at 8,744 tonnes as of Thursday, up 131.43 tonnes or 1.5 percent from the previous day.
The holdings of the New York-based trust, which issues securities backed by physical stocks of silver, hit a record 8,828.14 tonnes on July 31. [ID:nSP194465]
