iShares Silver Trust holdings up 2.1 pct to record
TOKYO, Nov 13 (Reuters) - The world's largest silver-backed exchange-traded fund, the iShares Silver Trust (SLV: Quote, Profile, Research), said its bullion holdings rose 183.37 tonnes, or 2.1 percent, from the previous day to a record 8,923.52 tonnes as of Nov. 12.
The holdings of the New York-based trust, which issues securities backed by physical stocks of silver, had previously hit a record 8,828.14 tonnes on July 31. [ID:nSP194465]
