April 19 (Reuters) - Ebay Inc reported a 3.7 percent increase in quarterly revenue on Wednesday as more shoppers visited its e-commerce websites and efforts to revamp its platform paid off.
The company's net income rose to $1.04 billion, or 94 cents per share in the first quarter ended March 31, from $482 million, or 41 cents per share, a year earlier.
