Need to anchor inflation expectations - RBI

MUMBAI (Reuters) - It would be ideal and possible to bring Indian inflationary expectations as close to the levels of global inflation, Reserve Bank of India Governor Yaga Venugopal Reddy said on Wednesday.

Reddy was speaking to reporters a day after it raised banks' cash reserve requirements by 25 basis points to 8.25 percent but kept its other policy rates unchanged.
