PARIS, July 11 (Reuters) - Robert Ophele, a deputy governor at the Bank of France, is set to be named as the new head of the country's AMF financial markets watchdog, the French President's office said a statement on Tuesday.
Ophele will replace Gerard Rameix as head of the AMF.
Ophele, born in 1956, graduated from the ESSEC business school with a specialist degree in finance. He joined the Bank of France in 1981. (Reporting by Sudip Kar-Gupta; Editing by Joseph Radford)
