France's Macron to visit Merkel in Berlin on Monday

BERLIN (Reuters) - French President-elect Emmanuel Macron will hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday in Berlin, one day after his planned inauguration on Sunday.

The visit was announced on Friday by Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert during a regular government news conference.
