DLA PIPER
DLA Piper, the law firm, hired H. Jeffrey Schwartz as chair of the U.S. restructuring group. He previously worked at Dechert LLP, where he was co-leader of the global business restructuring and reorganization practice group.
SECURITIES INDUSTRY AND FINANCIAL MARKETS ASSOCIATION
SIFMA named Andrew DeSouza manager of global communications. He joined from the U.S. Treasury Department, where he worked in public affairs.
MOELIS & CO
Moelis & Co, an investment bank specializing in mergers, said Stuart Goldstein will join in June as a managing director, based in Los Angeles. Goldstein most recently worked at Citigroup Inc (C.N: Quote, Profile, Research), where he was a managing director and head of West Coast technology investment banking.
CREDIT SUISSE GROUP INC (CSGN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research)
Switzerland's second-largest bank said a top UBS AG (UBSN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) prime brokerage banker, Matt Pecot, will join the bank as head of prime services for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
