Imperial Oil reports minor leak at Strathcona
CALGARY, Alberta, July 2 (Reuters) - Imperial Oil Ltd (IMO.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday reported a minor leak in a processing unit at its 187,000 barrel per day Strathcona refinery at Edmonton, Alberta, which is currently shutdown for maintenance.
Imperial spokesman Pius Rolheiser did not say if the leak was related to the maintenance work or if production was affected.
Rolheiser said Imperial has begun restarting some units at the refinery following the maintenance turnaround that began in late May. (Reporting by Scott Haggett; editing by Peter Galloway)
