Dell sees 'hesitancy' among clients due to economy
ROUND ROCK, Texas, April 3 (Reuters) - Dell Inc's (DELL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) finance chief said on Thursday the computer maker sees "a hesitancy" by some customers due to the souring economy and expects "some impact" to revenue.
"We've seen a hesitancy on our customers' part in the first quarter that has carried over from the fourth quarter," Chief Financial Officer Donald Carty said at a Dell analyst meeting near company headquarters in Round Rock, Texas.
"It's no secret that Dell has a big footprint in the U.S. It's going to have some impact on the top line." (Reporting by Philipp Gollner, editing by Dave Zimmerman)
