Marathon shuts Ewing Bank platform ahead of storm
HOUSTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Marathon Oil Corp (MRO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) shut production and pulled workers from its Ewing Bank platform in the Gulf of Mexico ahead of Hurricane Ida, a company spokeswoman said on Sunday.
The Ewing Bank platform can produce 11,700 barrels of oil and 10.5 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, Editing by Maureen Bavdek)
