New Issue-Travelers sells $500 mln 10-yr sr nts

May 8 (Reuters) - The Travelers Companies, Inc. (TRV.N: Quote, Profile, Research),
on Thursday sold $500 million of 10-year senior notes, said
market sources.

Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch were the joint bookrunning
managers for the sale.
