Freddie Mac sells $3 bln 5-year reference notes
NEW YORK, March 12 (Reuters) - Freddie Mac (FRE.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the No. 2 U.S. home funding company, on Wednesday sold $3 billion in five-year reference notes due May 29, 2013, via joint lead managers Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities and Goldman Sachs, said a market source familiar with the sale.
The 3.50 percent notes were priced at 99.548 to yield 3.594 percent or 105.5 basis points over U.S. Treasuries. Settlement is March 14.
Earlier on Wednesday, Freddie Mac sold $3 billion in two-year reference notes due May 28, 2010. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by James Dalgleish)
